Hello! I'm Katie and I'm so happy you stopped by. Healthy living, nutrition and wellness is a passion of mine however it has been a journey. Nutrition has always been an important part of my life but I didn't always pay attention to it. I swam competitively in high school and college and I somewhat paid attention to what I ate. I followed the basics of eating 45 minutes after practice, trying to eat more protein; but to be honest I had that thought of I'm young, I can eat what I want. Well I learned the hard way, poor nutrition leads to poor performance in the pool. Fast forward to now, the same principle applies poor nutrition leads to poor performance.
The thought behind Step Forward Nutrition & Wellness is that it's a journey, not an instant fix. The first step is always the hardest for whatever goals you want to achieve. It's my passion to help you make the first steps and continue on your path to a better you.
